I give up. I had been counting on a new CSA subscription re-igniting my interest in cooking from the low ebb it had fallen to, but the Teena's Pride gourmet box is...um...what's the opposite of inspiring? I'm going to go with soul-crushing. Another week of squash and eggplant and herbs. And three small beets. That's great; Thanks for that. There's always either too little or too much and it's never too much of something I actually want.

Thanks for all your inspiration over the years. I'll definitely go back over the archives for recipes from time to time (since with Bee Heaven the seasonal stuff is similar year to year...) so please don't disappear completely! Best - LK
I appreciate the appreciation. Going into the archives depresses me a little as I see enthusiasm I no longer have. But there is lots of good stuff in there and, for some reason, I am a top search result for learning how to tenderize chicken gizzards, so I'm happy to leave it up as a public resource.
Sorry to hear that your soul got crushed. So painful! It's hard to keep the blog momentum going. The offerings from Teena's CSA sounds a bit dull. Maybe you might consider writing about what's fresh and in season at grower supported markets? And posting it on (gasp) Facebook? There's a lot more traffic and community there. Just my 2 cents...
Blogs are so 2008 yet we keep blogging and creating them like lemmings. And here I am, hoping you keep up when you are er, re-inspired?
